The City of Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup International Showcase, is co-hosted by the City of Las Vegas and Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club.
The Showcase tournament is an opportunity for teams to play before college coaches and recruiters from around the country. The tournament will be offered to Boys & Girls, U11 to U19. All teams are guaranteed at least 4 games. Individual awards are offered for 1st and 2nd Place. The entry fee is only $895 for U11 & U12 teams and $1195 for U13-U19. Entry deadline for local teams will be December 4, 2017. Entry deadline for teams traveling from out of town will be December 31, 2017.
This tournament is played on the World-Class fields constructed exclusively for soccer by the City of Las Vegas. The Boys Event is held over the President’s Day weekend and the Girls Event is held the following weekend. Average Temperatures were 64F in 2017. Las Vegas has extremely easy and affordable airport access from most of the USA, and offers an entire array of Hotel/Motel opportunities.
The Mayor’s Cup is a “Stay & Play” Tournament. All teams are required to book hotel rooms through Traveling Teams Inc. Traveling Teams Inc. has negotiated special discounted rates for all visiting teams for hotels at most price points. Unlike other Las Vegas Tournaments, neither LV Mayor’s Cup nor Traveling Teams Inc. mark-up hotel prices to the participating teams. Traveling Teams Inc. guarantees the lowest advertised team room rate available for the dates of the LV Mayor’s Cup.
