Book Your Hotel Accomodations
The Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup is a “Stay and Play Tournament. As a condition of acceptance to the tournament, teams must agree to book their hotel accommodations through Traveling Teams. Traveling Teams Inc. has negotiated special discounted rates for all visiting teams.

Event Information
ELIGIBILITY
Eligible teams are Boys U13 – U19.
CREDENTIALS CHECK AND ROSTER
The deadline to complete your Credentials Check is Saturday, January 24, 2027. Any player added after that date, must contact credentials@lvmayorscup.com. The rosters will freeze on Tuesday, February 10, 2027. No additions will be allowed after the rosters freeze. NO EXCEPTIONS!! (Roster Instructions)
All teams are guaranteed at least four (4) matches (weather permitting).
BENCHES
The home team is listed first on the schedule and must change jerseys in the event of a color conflict. Traditionally, the home team wears a lighter color jersey. For Showcase games, coaches and players from both teams will sit on the same sideline. All Parents and spectators will sit on the opposite sideline. All subs will wait for it to be brought onto the field. at centerline. No alcoholic beverages, pets, illegal drugs or glass containers will be allowed on or near the tournament fields. The home team will provide match ball. Team benches are provided and are for players and team officials only.

ROSTER
Teams accepted to the Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup must have their complete rosters filled in at Gotsoccer.com prior to 11:59pm on January 24, 2027. Instructions on viewing your team’s official Mayor’s Cup roster, are available by clicking this link. Maximum roster size is 22 players with only 18 eligible per game.
SCHEDULE
SCHEDULES WILL BE RELEASED TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT.
Championship finalists will be determined by Tournament Scoring of the group stage matches. All matches will be played at the locations listed in the FIELDS section. Tournament Director may flip some teams between select consolation games, to avoid match-ups between teams from the same geographic area.
Allowance for time lost: Referees will not add time to a match except under the most extenuating circumstances. All preliminary matches will be terminated not less than five (5) minutes prior to the scheduled start of the next match on that field.
TOURNAMENT SCORING
Teams shall be awarded points for match results as follows:
A. (3) points for each win. (0) points for each loss.
(1) points for each tie.
B. For a forfeited match, the winner will be credited with a 3-0 win and awarded (3) points. A team abandoned by another team during a match will be awarded (3) points regardless of the score at the time of the abandonment. No points for team abandoning the match.
C. No points will be awarded if neither team shows up.
D. Any team leaving the field prior to the determination of a winner shall forfeit the match.
E. A match is considered official upon completion of one half of play regardless of the circumstances of termination during the second half with final results based on the score at termination.
F. Final standings for the pool will be determined by the total number of points accumulated during pool play.
FIFA LAW MODIFICATIONS
FIFA Law 4 – The Player’s Equipment
The player’s footwear cannot have metal cleats (studs).
All players must wear numbered uniforms with no duplicated numbers on a team.
The home team must change jerseys in the event of a color conflict.
FIFA Law 7 – The Duration of the Match
Periods of Play:
U13/U14: Two-thirty (30)-minute periods
U15/U19: Two thirty-five (35) minute periods
Half-time Interval: No more than five (5) minutes
Allowance for Time Lost: Referees will not add time to a match except under the most extenuating circumstances. All preliminary matches will be terminated not less than five (5) minutes prior to the scheduled start of the next match on that field.
Procedures to Determine the Winner of a elimination match:
No extra time will be played on any elimination match.
FIFA Penalty Kicks will be used to determine a winner.
Technical Area
The technical area is considered to be from the half-way line to the extent of the center circle in a team’s own half of the field.
The Fourth Official
A fourth official will not be provided.

Guest Players
Guest Players
If you would like to join the guest player pool for the tournament, or if you have a player that would like to be a guest for your team, they need to register with the link below at Gotsport.com Guest Player Program account. There is a differerent link for guest players who are goalkeepers. Please confirm that the player has the same type of player pass (USYS, US Club etc.) as the team you are guest playing for.
Coaches
If you have already identified a player to guest play for you, you will need to obtain a player loan form and have the player's current coach sign it to demonstrate their permission for the player to play. You need this documentation for your credentials check. You will then need to add the player to your roster. If you are looking for a pool of players to pick from, You will find instructions for pool players here. If you are looking for goalkeepers, select the guest player program from the “Programs” dropdown list. NOTE: players within your own club are NOT considered guest players.
