Mayor's Cup expands U11 age group. The Las Vegas Mayor's Cup will now feature both 8 v. 8 and 11 v. 11 sided games for the U11 age group. Teams from associations where only 8 v. 8 is offered for that age group will be able to participate in short sided games.

 

Mayor's Cup dates set. The City of Las Vegas and Downtown Las Vegas soccer have announced that the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup International Tournament will be held October 23 -25, 2009. Only local teams will be playing on Friday 10/23.

The “Platinum Ranked” City of Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup International Tournament, is Co-Hosted by the City of Las Vegas and Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club.

Last year’s tournament had teams from 12 different states associations as well as Canada and Mexico. We offer Gold & Silver levels for Boys & Girls, U-11-U15. U11 teams will have a choice of playing 8 v. 8 or 11 v 11 sided games. Teams are guaranteed 3 games. Individual awards are offered for 1st and 2nd Place. The entry fee is only $580. The Mayor's Cup is also the only Tournament in southern Nevada that offers a TOPSoccer flight.


This tournament showcases the World-Class fields constructed exclusively for soccer by the City of Las Vegas. It is held during the “Best Weather” of the year. Average Temperatures were 72F in 2007. Las Vegas has extremely easy and affordable airport access from most of the USA, and offers an entire array of Hotel/Motel opportunities.


The Mayor's Cup is a "Stay & Play" Tournament. All teams are required to book hotel rooms through SPORTS TEAMS ACCOMODATIONS. Sports Teams Accomodations has negotiated special discounted rates for all visiting teams for hotels at most price points. Unlike other Las Vegas Tournaments, neither LV Mayor's Cup nor Sports Teams Accomodations "Mark Up" hotel prices to the participating teams. Sports Teams Accomodations guarantees the lowest team room rate available for the dates of the LV Mayor's Cup.
